How to play Progressive Blackjack: Tutorial – Tips and guide

The object of Blackjack is for the total of your cards to be closer to 21 than the dealer’s cards, without exceeding 21. In Blackjack, ace

s count as either 1 or 11, face cards as 10, and number cards at their face value.

If you receive an ace and a ten-value card as your first two cards, you have Blackjack and win 1.5 times your bet (if your bet was $10, you receive $25). If the total value of your cards is closer to 21 than the dealer’s, you win your bet amount (if your bet was $10, you receive $20). If the total of your cards is more than 21, you “bust” and lose your bet. If you and the dealer have the same card total (17 and up) neither of you win and your bet is returned to you in a “push”. Blackjack beats a score of 21.

Our Blackjack follows the standard “Las Vegas Strip” rules, with the following exceptions:

  • After each round, used cards are returned to the deck and the deck is shuffled.
  • The player may not split a split hand.
  • Only one card is drawn to split aces.
  • The player may double after splitting.
  • The dealer will not check for Blackjack in any case.
  • If the player doubles and the dealer’s first card is of value 11 (ACE), and the dealer gets Blackjack, the player loses both his bets. If the dealer’s first card is of value 10, and the dealer gets Blackjack, the player gets the Double bet back.

If your first two cards have the same value, you may split them into two separate hands by placing a second bet equal to the original bet. You will then draw additional cards to each hand. You may draw as many cards as you like on each split hand, but if you split two aces, you receive only one additional card for each ace. If you receive an ace and a ten-value card in a split hand, it is considered 21 and not Blackjack.

If, after you are dealt your first two cards, you think that the third card will allow you to beat the dealer’s hand, you can double your bet. The bet amount becomes twice the original (with the difference taken out of your balance), and you are dealt one more card.

If the dealer shows an Ace in his initial hand, you are given a chance to insure your bet against him having a Blackjack. If you get Insurance, an amount equal to half your original bet is placed separately on the table. If the dealer does have Blackjack, you are paid 2 to 1 on your insurance. This way you do not lose your original bet (because you get the 2x half your original bet, plus the insurance amount back). If the dealer does not have Blackjack, you lose the insurance amount, even if you end up losing.

It is theoretically possible for the player to draw 10 cards without going bust. In this case the player’s hand automatically wins, except when the dealer has Blackjack.

  • Click on chips to select a value and click on the bet area to place a chip of that value. Every left-click increases your bet amount, every right-click decreases it.
  • Click the Deal button.
  • If the dealer shows an Ace, you are offered insurance. Click the Insurance button to insure against the dealer having Blackjack.
  • Use the Hit, Stand, Double and Split buttons as required.
  • Please note that Insurance, Double and Split require additional bets. If your balance does not have enough money to cover these expenses, the buttons will be disabled.
  • If you want to play another round, press New Game. Then place a bet as described above and click the Deal button, or click Rebet to place the same bet as in the previous round.

In this game you have the option of making an additional bet to try and win a jackpot. Click on the coin slit above the bet area to place the side bet. The blinking light above the slit will turn green. The cost of the side bet is $1 (or equivalent in your currency), out of which a certain percentage goes to the progressive jackpot pool. If you get a winning card combination as described in the Progressive pay table, you get an additional payout. The highest progressive payout is the progressive jackpot and is won upon receiving four consecutive Aces of the same suit and starting from the first card in the hand. Note that all progressive wins require that the card combinations (one to four Aces) are consecutive and starting from the first card in the hand. These wins are awarded at the end of the game round, and if you’ve split your hand, they are calculated separately for each of the new hands.

The Progressive pay table is displayed when you click on Show Pay table on the left side of the screen, just under the ticker that shows the current size of the jackpot.

One of the possible wins in this game is the progressive Jackpot. A small percentage of each bet, by every person playing this game in each of many online casinos, is added to a common pot. When a player gets the right result, that player wins the entire Jackpot (in some games you can also win part of it).

After a Jackpot has been won, a new pot is started, with the casinos contributing a base amount of money (called a seed). This ensures that even if you get a Jackpot result in a game right after someone else has won the Jackpot, you will still get a large win.

Each game has its own Jackpot, built up by all the casinos that offer the game.

  • In some games you have to make a specific bet to be eligible for the Jackpot.
  • If you get disconnected in the middle of a game round, your game does not change the value of the Jackpot. The state of the game up to that point is remembered by the casino; the next time you log in you can finish your game round with the same odds and without placing a new bet.
  • If a Jackpot is being discontinued (a game is closed and removed from the casino client), you will be notified of it by the casino.

The Jackpot for this game works like this:

Seed (how much money the Jackpot starts out with): 50,000 x your jackpot bet size.
Contribution rate (what percentage of each bet goes into the Jackpot): 3%
Win condition (the result you have to get to win the Jackpot): Four consecutive aces of the same suit, starting from the 1 st card in the hand.
Win requirements (what you need to do to be eligible for the Jackpot): Place the jackpot bet.

You can also play this game in Multi hand mode. Select “Multi hand” in the casino lobby when starting the game. You can play with up to five hands simultaneously. Place bets by clicking on the different bet areas. You can play one hand only if you wish, or any number of hands up to five. Every hand may have a different bet amount.

The customer/member agrees to defend the Company (house) against all suits, claims or other actions, and to hold them harmless from any damages, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys fees, arising out of any claim by a customer/member relating directly or indirectly to the failure or delay by the Software Provider to deliver the progressive jackpot winnings to the Company (house) for payment to the customer/member.

The customer/member may withdraw a maximum of USD30,000.00 per month, and a maximum of USD10,000.00 per single withdrawal. No interest shall be paid on the balance of any progressive winnings that have not yet been paid to the customer/member.

The customer/member may make a special request, through customer support, to withdraw an amount that exceeds the foregoing restrictions. If the Company in its sole discretion accepts the request, the customer/member agrees that the Company may deduct a certain percentage (“deduction rate”) from the progressive winnings to cover transaction and administrative costs and any other applicable costs. The customer/member shall be notified of the deduction rate applicable to the request, after which the Company shall proceed with the special withdrawal request upon confirmation by the customer/member.

The Company reserves the right to modify the mode or method of payment for the customer’s withdrawal or fund-out request at its sole and absolute discretion.
